We finish up our space god thing arc with DC’s side of the Kirby Coin: the Darkseid, Orion, and the Fourth World in “Orion: Gates of Apokolips.” In Walt Simonson’s deceptively sleepy little trade, the lord of Apokolips brings an entire town under his control while Orion races after him for a climactic fight that just may be one of the best throwdowns in all of superhero comics.
