What do you do when you find yourself unable to import years of old posts after upgrading your wordpress blog? Do you do the sensible solution and contact your system administrator and ask to have your php.ini file expanded so you can import over 2MB; or, do you “simply” wipe the slate clean and totally start over, using this seeming failure as a means of refreshing your outlook on your content?
I’m sure most bloggers would abhor the loss of years of content, but not I, the brave and lazy. Nay, I say: brandish this catastrophe as a sword of renewal. Also, I’m really tired of spending hours trying to cram a 2.7MB file through a 2.0MB hole without making a phone call.
So here it is, the new JollyAndy.com! It will feature… probably mostly the same content. The front page is shinier now, though. And you wouldn’t know it by looking, but the server-side file structure is a lot more organized.
