We like to create ideas.

While many people love to consume stories, games, and quests, we like to build. Behind every game, there's a story being told, and behind every narrative, there's a game to play. We don't retweet, we don't reblog, and we don't copy-paste. We never ask what we did last year. We make anew.

Our Staff

We’ve pulled together a team that perfectly balances the technical demands of the game storytelling industry with the creative fuel that end customers desire. How do we do it? Every person on our team contributes to both sides of the ball: technical & creative. This way we make sure that all aspects of the game or story we create don’t float into the sky or stay mired in technical muck.

Co-founder Alex Tejeda is one of our primary idea generators, responsible for brainstorming over 75% of our successfully developed ideas. His real talents, however, are gamification and trope manipulation. With a degree in theoretical economics, Alex applies real-world human behavior to video game ideas. He excels at identifying points in the gaming experience where the human and the system fail to interact, and he’s even better at implementing incentives to fix the problem.

Fellow Co-Founder Andrew is our primary idea refiner. During brainstorming sessions, Andrew pushes the team to explore the idea from all angles: game, quest, or story. With multiple degrees in critical analysis and narrative structure, Andrew builds ideas from the ground up the same way architects plan buildings. Stories, games, and ideas all need foundations, frameworks, and functions — Andrew fleshes the idea out to fill those roles.

Do you think you would be a good fit for our team? SGI is always looking for more talented individuals to create game ideas for us to sell to game companies or to publish as stories. So long as you understand the way games and stories are built and yearn for creative freedom, we’d love to talk to you.
